Hello again! ☻

I’m Erin Seccia. I am a graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Design. During my undergraduate career, I specialized in UX/UI design with a focus on visual communication and design thinking research methodologies. Additionally, I hold a minor in Spanish.

During my time at UC, I was a UC NEXT Innovation Scholar and University Honor Student, both of which have offered me countless opportunities that have shaped who I am as an individual and designer. Due to my participation in this valuable and transformative program, I am drawn to multidisciplinary environments and practices empathetic human-centered design at every step of the design process.

My list of interests is never-ending, as it is with any creative, but these are some of my highlights: I’m a digital and film photographer, I am passionate about wildlife conservation & sustainability, and I love to hike & explore. I’m a crocheter, dark sky conservationist, houseplant collector, and gamer! But most importantly to you, I’m hard-working, quick-witted, and extremely interested in making a difference through my work as a visual communication designer.

As an environmentalist and self-described novice naturalist, my passion for nature shines through in both my photographic work and career goals. I ultimately aim to use my design skills to empower individuals to take action to slow the ongoing climate crisis.

Letter of Recommendation.
